South Beach Psychiatric Center
My community mental health outpatient clinic is associated with this State of New York psychiatric hospital. I am therapist, Computer Instructor and Co-ordinator, and Education Co-ordinator at the Baltic Street Center (see “Contact TV” on the right).
Community Board 6 of Brooklyn, NY
I am currently a Community Member of the Public Safety and the Human Services Committees of CB6. I have been in past years on the Housing/Environmental Protection and on the Youth Services/Education Committees as well.
American Red Cross - Disaster Mental Health
This team responds to disasters where mental health workers can provide some relief: airline disasters, fires, floods, building collapses, etc. I feel lucky to have done this work for a few years before facing the World Trade Center disaster.
Critical Incident Response Team
This Office of Mental Health team was formed in the wake of the Flight 800 airline disaster. I have volunteered here as well since 1998. I created this basic website for my CIRT Team.

I am an alumnus here, more years ago than is necessary to say. I am also a former Field Instructor and a former Faculty Advisor, which means I’m a former employee as well (Adjunct Lecturer).

As a Field Instructor, I supervise Masters in Social Work students for this school.
Columbia University SSW
As a Field Instructor, I supervise MSW students for this school.
Long Island University SSW
As a Field Instructor, I supervise Bachelors in Social Work students for this school.
York College SSW
As a Field Instructor, I supervise BSW students for this school.
College of Staten Island
As a Field Instructor, I formerly supervised BSW students for this school.
